The Irish Packaging Society (TIPS) would like to invite you to the second in our series of webinars on Tuesday 6th December at 09.30 – 10.15 am.

Our Guest Speaker is Nerida Kelton, the Vice President Sustainability & Save Food, World Packaging Organisation (WPO) and also the Executive Director for the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP).

She has worked in the packaging industry for over 25 years, with over two decades working for the AIP; the peak professional body for packaging training and education in Australasia.

Nerida is passionate about educating the industry on the important role that packaging plays in minimising Food Waste and how designing Save Food Packaging and Sustainable Packaging can make a difference. She is the lead for the Save Food Packaging Consortium project within the Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre and was the packaging representative on National Food Waste Strategy Steering Committee. She is also one of the creators of the annual Queensland Xmas Foodbank hamper program which has packed over 14,000 hampers to the value of over $1 Million AUD over the last 11 years.

As an active guest lecturer in the AIP educational portfolio Nerida is committed to helping educate and train packaging professionals in the importance of sustainable and circular packaging design and recognising best practice in this area. She recently joined the lecturing team for the Institute for the Master of Food & Packaging Innovation degree at the University of Melbourne and is also the coordinator of the Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) Awards for Australia and New Zealand.
