Irish Packaging Society becomes a member of The World Packaging Organisation

WPO membership

We are proud to announce, that at the Interpack exibition in Germany this May, The Irish Packaging Society were accepted along with France and Egypt, to become full members of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO). This allows TIPS to represent and give a voice & voting rights to the Irish Membership.

Founded in 1968, The World Packaging Organisation has 77 members around the globe. It is a non-profit, non-governmental, international federation of national packaging institutes, associations and packaging federations.

Primary activities of the WPO, which align closely to our own, are to promote education through meetings, special activities and publications, to sponsor an international packaging design awards program and to facilitate contact and exchange among the various national institutes of packaging.
