Orfix – NJB Packaging: Field Technical Sales
As a well-established distributor of packaging materials and machinery with the support of a global group, we are looking for a motivated and technically minded Field Sales Representative. This role combines office-based account management with client visits across Ireland, focusing on building strong customer and supplier relationships, driving sales, and providing hands-on technical support.
Location: Ireland (Flexible, including Northern Ireland) – Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customers
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Conduct site visits, trials and product demonstrations
- Lead technical sales discussions with customers
- Act as a key point of contact for aftersales and support
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams
The ideal profile
- Experience in sales or technical sales (packaging, machinery, manufacturing or industrial would be ideal)
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Technically minded and solution-focused
- Comfortable managing your own territory and diary
- Full driving licence and happy to travel across Ireland
