Gary English, Sales Director at EVA-TEC recently awarded Léan Caufield with the EVA-TEC award for Irelands Packaging Diploma Student of the year. Gary commented “Education and training are key to building a sustainable future on the island of Ireland and Eva- Tec are delighted to support the packaging programmes endorsed by The Irish Packaging Society . Well done Léan on your great achievement and I look forward to attending next year’s award ceremony”.

Léan who is a Packaging Technologist for Irish Distillers thanked EVA- TEC for the award and said that “I decided to do the packaging diploma to further my knowledge of packaging in general and it’s definitely of benefit to my current role. Sustainability is a big topic at the moment and the course has helped to understand packaging from a sustainability and environmental point of view. I would definitely recommend the diploma to others; the small group lends itself to a great learning experience. The lecturers are all packaging experts, and their knowledge is invaluable.”
