Lynne Connolly elected Chair of The Irish Packaging Society
Dublin 2nd February 2026 — The Irish Packaging Society has announced the election of Lynne Connolly, Managing Director of orfix-NJB Packaging, as its new Chair, following a close election at their AGM.
The Society, a pro bono, not-for-profit organisation, represents professionals across Ireland’s food, packaging, beverage, pharmaceutical and retail sectors, playing a central role in promoting innovation, education and sustainability in the industry.

Lynne’s appointment follows David Little stepping down as Chair, after more than two decades of dedicated service and leadership. A member of TIPS for over 25 years, David was elected to the role of Chair in the mid-2000’s. He has played a pivotal role in shaping the Society’s growth, influence, and educational impact within Ireland’s Food, Drink & Packaging industry. David will remain on the Committee to assist in a smooth transfer of leadership. David says, “I wish Lynne every success in her new role.”
Connolly will now take up the reins and lead the Society’s initiatives over the coming years, including:
- Expanding member engagement and networking opportunities.
- Promoting best practice in sustainable packaging.
- Supporting education and career development in the sector.
- Strengthening links with international packaging organisations.
